C-Sections are a very common surgery but there is very little information out there for women about what they should do following a cesarean. It is very important that the scar heal as well as possible and not adhere to, or stick to, any of the surrounding structures as this can impact your nerves or stomach function later. It can also impact things such as bladder symptoms.
Many women don't know that if the scar sticks to structures around it that it can lead to a vast number of symptoms such as itching around the anus, bladder urgency and knee pain.
Abdominal function following c-sections is also extremely important. As you will learn in the mummy tummy video you need to get proper activation of your "core" muscle - transversus abdominus - to help your abdominal separation.
